The Festival

Over the weekend of 8th-10th August, the fifth Endorse-it in-Dorset music festival will take place near the village of Sixpenny Handley in the beautiful setting of Cranborne Chase.
It was a birthday party in a barn that sparked off The Endorse-it in-Dorset Festival - an event that inspired members of the band Pronghorn to take things into their own hands and start a festival, bringing local and international music to their home county of Dorset. They have put together a quality event and rather than relying on corporate sponsorship, the team uses local business to make the event profitable to the surrounding community. The Festival goes from strength to strength, pulling in visitors and artists from around the globe and has grown from a one day event of 750 capacity, to a three day festival of 5000.

Opening / Closing
Times

The festival campsite opens at midday on Friday 8th August, with the festival arena opening at 5pm. The campsite closes at midday on Monday 11th August.

Food and Drink

You can bring your own alcohol into the campsite, but not into the festival arena as the 3 well-stocked bars carry a full range of drinks, offering a grand choice of real ales, cocktails, spirits, lagers, ciders and soft drinks. There’s a wide selection of food stalls selling foods from all corners of the world.

Camping

Camping at the festival is built into the ticket price and valid for the date/s on your ticket. The campsite opens at midday on Friday 8th and must be vacated by midday Monday 11th. Please consider your alcohol levels before driving home and leave yourself plenty of time to sober up.

Pets

NO PETS, of whatever shape and size. The festival site is on a working farm. We wouldn't want your prize winning poodle to be shot by the local farmer! Bringing pets runs the risk of refusal of admission/removal from the site – you have been warned!!

Kids

We have a great kids area planned for this year, with plenty of free/cheap activities on offer. There is also a quiet camping area for those who need a bit of tranquility, set at the top of the campsite, but in a separate field.

and finally...

Have a great time – explore, learn, experience and generally have a brilliant weekend!
